A record breaking 42 countries take part in the 52nd Eurovision Song Contest. This year, the Eurovision Song Contest family welcomes Czech Republic and Georgia as new participating members, as well as returning countries Austria and Hungary!
Semi-Final: Thursday 10th May, 2007
Ten of the following countries will qualify for the Final, on 12th May.
Participating countries ( 28 ) Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, FYR Macedonia, Georgia, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Latvia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland and Turkey.
Final: Saturday 12th May, 2007
The top-10 of last year's Eurovision Song Contest Final and the so-called Big Four (France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom) are already secure of a place in this year's Final.
Participating countries (14+10): Armenia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Lithuania, Romania, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
