Bestival 2007 launch parties

Forget all about frolicking lambs, golden sunsets as the evenings draw
out and banks of golden daffodils peppering the British countryside.
Spring is here and that can mean but one thing, the opportunity to
throw off those winter slumbers at one of Bestival’s annual Spring
launch parties!

If
there are just too many sleeps for you between now and this September’s
main event, then you can whet your Bestival 2007 whistle at a fab
selection of exclusive April launch parties in the South of England.
And don’t forget that if you are feeling like really treating yourself,
then you can still hook up with the Bestival crew on the piste at next
month’s swanky Snowbombing festival in Austria.

Radio One DJ Rob da Bank will bring his mighty cavalcade of music, fun
and fancy-dress tomfoolery aka Bestival to Robin Hill Country Park, Nr.
Newport, Isle of Wight for the fourth consecutive year over the weekend
of 7-9 September 2007.

Already announced this year are Friday
night headliners and superstar DJs The Chemical Brothers as well as the
Saturday bill-toppers, live and direct from Brooklyn NYC, the kings of
BBoy Bouillabaisse Beastie Boys, with a third big headline act to be
announced very shortly. And we should not forget for one moment the
stellar line-up of hundreds of acts such as The Orb, Billy Bragg,
Gregory Isaacs, Levellers, The Maccabees, Simian Mobile Disco, Horace
Andy and Calvin Harris amongst many others that have already been
announced/are to be announced soon.

Add to this a potent mix
of the world’s greatest DJs, including a rare outing from legendary
DJ/remix maestro/Kraftwerk collaborator François K, David Holmes, BBC
Radio One’s Tim Westwood and Gilles Peterson, Ben Watt (Everything But
The Girl), Justin Robertson, Erol Alkan and Andy C, as well as the
world’s biggest fancy-dress parade, farmers’ markets, kids’ area,
morris dancing, Bollywood cocktail bar and much much more and you have
a unique boutique festival experience that will suit the whole family
right down to the ground.

Don’t forget too that Bestival are
the proud winners of the UK Festival Awards - Best Medium-Sized
Festival prize for the last two years in a row. As Rob da Bank remarked
: 'We must be doing something right!'.

we did in 2006 ' don’t leave it to the last minute, grab your weekend

BESTIVAL 2007 TICKETING

Adult Tickets - £115.00
Adult
Tickets are for anyone aged 16 or over on 07/09/2007. Ticket holders
aged 16 and 17 must be accompanied by a Ticket holding parent or
guardian over the age of 21*

Age 13 to 15 Child Tickets - £57.50
Age
13 to 15 Child Tickets are for anyone aged 13 to 15 on 07/09/2007.
Child ticket holders must be accompanied by a Ticket holding parent or
guardian over the age of 21*

Age 12 & Under Child Tickets ' FREE
Age
12 & Under Child Tickets are for anyone aged 12 and under on
07/09/2007. Child Ticket holders must be accompanied by a Ticket
holding parent or guardian over the age of 21*

*NB: One ticket holding parent or guardian can only accompany up to 4 people under the age of 18.

Campervan Tickets - £45.00 (per vehicle)
Your
Campervan must be specially adapted for people to stay in (which does
not include transit vans with a mattress in the back or 4x4s with the
seats folded down). If your vehicle is longer than 7 meters you will
need to purchase two Campervan Tickets. Cars will not be allowed into
the Campervan area so consequentially Caravans, Trailer Tents etc are
not permitted.

All Tickets will incur a Booking Fee.

All
these rules will be strictly enforced this year so please ensure you
have read this information thoroughly and that you buy the correct
tickets or you may be refused entry to the festival.
